Final Stop: The Farm

After a few fun days at Mimi & Papa's house we headed to the farm in Louisiana. Candie and Steven took little Tanner back home but we brought Mia with us. Oh, do the girls have fun at the farm!! They didn't mind one bit that it was pretty chilly that week. They loved being outside, running after Papa, playing with their older cousins and visiting with family. They were both so well behaved and enjoyed themselves completely. MawMaw loves seeing her great grandbabies... This is what they looked like each night after a full day of fun with absolutely NO naps... Four wheeling fun!!! Picking beautiful Camilias... A four generation picture... Mimi & Papa just love having their girls around... The farm is peaceful and quiet,
yet full of family, love and LOTS of good eats :)

Next stop: Orange, TX !

Christmas morning we got up early, loaded up the car and headed East to see Mimi & Papa. The Tramonte gang was right behind us and we arrived to another session of gift opening and another multitude of toys for both princesses. Poor Tanner got some stuff too but being only a couple months old definitely puts one at a disadvantage ;)

The girls were sooo happy to see each other!

What's in the GIANT stocking??

Look who got a fancy new camera just like her daughter-in-law and son-in-law??
A tunnel and tent to have at Mimi's house!!
Mia got a new scooter so Gaby was more than happy to show her the ropes...

It's always a blast to see Mia and Gaby together! They have such a great relationship.
We all had a really lovely weekend at Mimi & Papa's!

Navidad en Houston

For the first time in MANY years, Byron had almost two weeks off for the holidays. That usually means we have to hit the road. Our first stop in our Christmas vacation trekk was Houston. We spent Christmas Eve with my family at my parents house. We all made different parts of a delicious dinner and then exchanged gifts. As you can guess, Gaby got a boatload of gifts.

Sometimes I can't get over how beautiful my mom is... This is a Gaby shot...

The Trail of Lights

We actually made to Zilker Park's Annual Trail of Lights this year. We went on our "Christmas" night. It was pretty chilly that night so it really put us in the holiday spirit. Gaby loved looking at all the lights and looking for her favorite characters. Our sweet Gaby has started to show interest in taking pictures herself. (Taking after her mommy?) Here are a couple of her awesome shots... There's something to be said for natural talent ;)
