Rocker Girl Party

Also yesterday, Gaby's good friend, Isabel, had her 7th Bday Party. The theme was rocker girl and there were tattoos and hair spraying involved. And as usual, the awesome giant air slide!

Princess Party

One of Gaby's closest friends from school, Chloe, had her 4th Birthday party yesterday. It was a princess party and even Sleeping Beauty showed up!! That was VERY exciting for all the girls. Gaby had on her princess dress earlier in the day but declared it too itchy to wear to the party.

We went over to Ellington's house the other day to dye eggs. The girls actually got the concept this year and did a pretty great job!!

Austin Rodeo

The Austin Rodeo coincided with Spring Break this year! So we decided to spend the day there. I like the Austin Rodeo alot because it's not too big or overwhelming and it is really entertaining for the younger crowd. A couple of Gaby's friends joined us for a fun day. Everyone had a blast!!

Gaby is a real daredevil! She loved riding all the rollercoasters and spinning rides. She couldn't get enough! She really wasn't scared of anything. That's my girl :)

Zilker Kite Festival

One of my most favorite events in Austin is the Zilker Kite Festival. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because it's always in early March when the weather is just so beautiful. Or maybe it's all the colorful kites up in the sky. Or just being outside, enjoying a picnic with practically every other Austinite. I don't know. But I just love it! And I was so excited to share the day with my nieces and nephew and of course, my sweet Gaby. (Poor Daddy was working-boo!)

Spring Break 2010

This year for Spring Break we get to enjoy the company of some very special visitors. Gaby's cousins have come to town and we can't wait to see what adventures we have ahead us...

The Ride of a Lifetime

For Byron's birthday, Gaby and I gave him "The Ride of a Lifetime". It's a day at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth where he got to drive and ride a Nascar. So this weekend, we headed to Dallas for some Nascar fun! Byron had such a blast and is a pretty great race car driver :) They had a fun slide to entertain the kids...
