Camila's First Day

The Big Day !!

The day we had been waiting for had finally arrived! And it was such a lovely experience compared to last time. Walking in to the hospital for a planned c-section is a very quiet, peaceful and non-stressful experience. I thought it was great! My surgery was planned for 7:30am but we had to arrive at 5:30am. I got a good night's sleep, took a shower, got pretty, kissed my sleeping big girl good-bye and went to the hospital with my hubby and my very excited mom :) Prepped and ready to go...

Baby Showers

I've got amazing friends! They are all so sweet and wanted to throw me baby showers even though I insisted it really wasn't necessary. Having another girl means I really have everything I need. But I have great friends and I received not one but TWO small baby showers! I am a lucky girl :) The first one was a surprise shower by the ladies that I have my monthly "Girl's Dinners" with. Being a surprise, I only have a couple of blurry cell phone pics...

And the second one was from my close group of Mommies- all our girls have been friends for a long time and they all dance together. Us moms have become very close and have also formed great friendships! Everything was so darn cute!
Our newest little sweetie got a whole bunch of good, "new" stuff so she doesn't have to completely live in hand me downs. We are very blessed!

M&M Week

The last week of July brought us alot of fun when Mimi & Mia came for a visit! Gaby had the week off and her nanny was on vacation so....Mimi to the rescue! The three girls had a fun week together (that included storytime, the Children's Museum & even a little Chuck E. Cheese!!) and Papa even came for the weekend to see his beautiful granddaughters. Gaby & Mia together are about the cutest thing you've ever seen! They basically spent the whole time upstairs together playing, talking, laughing and getting into everything. Listening in on their conversations was so completely entertaining! They are too funny! I am always so happy when they get to spend time together. Their friendship is awesome!!

Summer Camps

Gaby has had a great summer break! Some weeks she attended camps and other weeks she got to just be lazy and hang around. Overall, it was a great mix of fun activities and she seemed to really enjoy it all. After Riverbend and a week off, she went to gymnastics camp... then art camp (which had a Dr. Seuss theme-fun!)....
and finally a dance camp (No pics from that week but maybe a video coming soon!).

Each camp had a friend or two she already knew to add to the fun! We were very pleased with all of the camps and are so happy Gaby enjoyed her summer break at all of these neat camps.

Riverbend Summer Fun!

This was Gaby's second year at Riverbend Church's Summer Fun. It's a four week camp at this great church by our house. Last year we were very pleased with the camp and Gaby has asked about it basically all year long. We were again so happy with her experience this year! She had a blast and did lots of neat things like making ice cream, feeding animals at the petting zoo, and got to see a real magician in action!

Another great thing this year was that she was joined by her best bud, Ellington! Having a friend there always makes things even more fun! Here are the few pics I managed to take...

Happy Independence Day!

We enjoyed the usual 4th of July parade with Gaby's best bud, Ellington, and her family and then went to the park where they had lots of activities and ice cream! It was blazing hot by 10am!! After that we went to another friend's house for a swimming party and got to cool off but forgot to take pictures. The bad part of this year's 4th of July festivities was that since Central Texas is in an extreme drought there were NO fireworks anywhere around us. Such a bummer!
