Dallas Girls Trip

For our last summer outing, I decided to take a little roadtrip with my girls to Dallas while Byron was on call. We went to go visit our buds the Davis'. It was a fun few days and we did alot of fun things including going to a trampoline park (all the pics from that are blurry!), swimming in their pool, and playing lots of games at their house. On our way back home we hit the Dallas Aquarium...

Summer Camps

Gaby did a couple camps this summer besides swim team. She did her usual 6 wks at Riverbend where they learned alot about science. Here she is making a huge bubble....

50th Wedding Anniversary

We celebrated my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary with a black tie party for their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful night filled with friendship and love and was the perfect way to honor my parent's and their enduring and amazing marriage.  They renewed their vows, we had a sit down dinner and then an awesome Latin band to dance the night away.  Their friends even got them a Mariachi band to serenade them. Surprisingly, Mila was the one who enjoyed the Mariachis the most :) Everyone had a great time and it was such a blessing to be able to celebrate such an important event.  Aren't my parent's are just the cutest couple ever??

Ears Pierced!

Gaby decided to get her ears pierced. Again. Last time they got infected and she would NOT let us put them back in. So I waited patiently for her to want them pierced again. And then I waited some more to make sure she was definitely ready. I was not about to try this more than once! She was very brave and although she did try to back out last minute she went through with it like a brave girl and only cried a little bit. Of course, once we got some ice cream, everything was right with the world again ;-)

Seaside 2013

We took our third annual trip to Seaside with the Mimi, Papa & the Tramontes. A good time was had by all! Mila travelled much better this year and REALLY enjoyed the sand and ocean. It rained a little bit the first couple of days but after that we had spectacular weather! It's always such fun to get to spend a week with the family :)

Lost Creek Swim Team 2013

This summer Gaby joined her first swim team for Lost Creek. She swam freestyle and backstroke. We all know she LOVES to swim but she also seemed to enjoy the competition of racing. She did really well winning lots of her heats and kept improving her times throughout the season. We are so proud of her! Here are some pics from her meets...

San Diego Anniversary Trip

Byron and I took a little adult vaca to San Diego to celebrate our 11th anniversary. We love San Diego! It was our second time there. We did alot of eating, walking around and just plain relaxing. It was heavenly!!! Here are a few grainy cell phone pics...

Dance Recital

Gaby had her big dance recital today. She is taking ballet. Pita and Lulu came to watch her on the big stage. She is pretty much a pro at these shows now and did just a wonderful job. Way to go sweet girl!!
