Wide Load (8.30.2006)

Hello all! Hope this email finds you well. Many of you have asked for some pictures of my expanding body. I am currently 19 1/2 weeks pregnant and I have apparently "popped". I would say "ballooned" is a more appropriate term!! In the last two weeks, some very sudden and fast changes have occurred and I am slowly accepting the fact that there's no way around it. I finally have a belly and everyday it seems to get bigger!! We have our ultrasound next Thurs Sept 7th. We'll find out if we'll have pink or blue in our future! I'll be in touch after that.........

One Trimester Down... (7.22.2006)

......two more to go:)!!

Hi, all!! Well, I survived my first trimester but just barely. The morning sickness was pretty terrible. Nausea and vomiting, tiredness, lack of energy and appetite. After a few weeks, I just couldn't do it anymore. It's hard being a dentist when everything makes you want to puke. My doctor put me on Zofran, an anti-nausea med and if you ask me, a miracle pill. What an amazing medication! It made me feel instantly better. I was on it for about two weeks and then I guess I had passed the hump! These days I am feeling much, much better and am so thankful to be past all that. I managed to lose eight pounds during that time so I'm still not really showing too much. I'm sure that will start soon. I haven't really had any weird cravings yet but am definitley enjoying eating like a normal person again. We have our big ultrasound scheduled for Sept 7th and I am dying to find out what the sex is. Byron is convinced it's a boy and of course I have no doubt it's a girl. We have a little bet going on. I'm sure I'll win:)!! They say the second trimester is the "honeymoon" so I am very excited to be in it. I'll send ya'll a note after the ultrasound.

Love, Angie:)

Join the club...

Hello, all! I thought it was about time I enter into the modern era and try this blogging thing. For months, I've been enjoying other people's blogs and I decided "I can do this". I realize after having a baby that there is so much to document and so many pictures taken that you should do something with them. But I know that I just don't have the time or the energy to scrapbook. It's just too much. You have to print the pictures, crop the pictures, pick the sheets, and then there's the millions of stickers (don't get me started on the stickers!). So I thought I might be able to do something good this way- a sort of electronic scrapbook, per se. My greatest inspiration is my brother-in-law, Steven. He has created the most beautiful, sweet and entertaining blog for his adorable daughter and my precious niece, Mia. I hope to make him proud:) Plus I figured eventually Gaby would get mad at me for not having one for her. I can just hear her say- "but Mom, everyone else has a blog!!" So as I enter this new world, I hope to fill this blog with what's going on in our lives and most importantly with our little angel. And hopefully you can all enjoy the hundreds of pictures we have taken of Gaby:) I went back and added all the emails I sent out during my pregnancy and included lots of pictures. Enjoy! And good luck to me:)
