Pita was here this weekend. And it was sooo extremely appreciated and welcomed!! After Gaby's weeks of illness, mommy needed a break. And NOBODY delivers a break like Pita!
My mom had been in Colombia for the past three weeks and hadn't seen her little precious for quite a while so she was really needing a Gaby fix herself. She literally goes through withdrawl. It's just so cute. So last minute she decided to hop on a plane and visit us for the weekend. Yipee!! We got to go out on Sat night and I had decided to work on Monday so she got to spend some very special one on one time w/her Chiquita. Gaby was so totally happy to see her Pita! She showered her w/hugs and kisses all weekend. I just love watching those two together.
So as Mother's Day approaches, and I realize that sometimes I don't tell the people in my life how much they mean to me often enough. I thought I'd take this chance to tell the world that- I ABSOLUTELY ADORE MY MOM!!! She is quite simply the most amazing person I know. Words cannot describe how much she means to me. Her love is undeniable. It just radiates from her like a warm ray of sunshine. I just hope I can be half as wonderful a mom as she has always been to me.
